Driven by passion since 1981
The story of Extrem started in 1981 on Frösön in northern Sweden when two teenagers decided to make snowboards in their parents' garage. Over time, the hobby turned into a business and the garage was replaced by a factory outside Åre.
All skis are designed, engineered, tested and built by our team, backed by over 40 years of experience. The focus is always on the on-snow feel and the joy of skiing for skiing all over the mountain. But at the heart of it all lies the same passion for craftsmanship and sliding downhill on snow as when it all started.
